Courtney E. Brandt of Pierre, a graduate of T.F. Riggs High School is a well rounded, versatile individual excelling in sports and academics. Courtney will be attending Northern State at Aberdeen, pursuing a major in Biology leading to a career in nursing. Interestingly the only "C"s in four years were in biology.
Phillip G. Bunkowske of Watertown, graduated from Great Plains Lutheran in Watertown carrying a 3.5 GPA for four years. Attending Presentation College in Aberdeen he hopes to continue sports participation seeking his future in a sports related field such as coaching, sportscaster or trainer.
Miranda M. Cain of Sioux Falls graduated from Brandon Valley High School with a 3.694 GPA. Miranda's academic skills are equaled in the sports arena, including fast and slow pitch softball. Enrolling at the University of Sioux Falls with intent to hone leadership skills for future endeavors.
Taylor A. Hyde of Pierre, a T.F. Riggs graduate will enter the University of South Dakota at Vermillion seeking a medically oriented degree. In addition to carrying an over 3.0 GPA in High School, Taylor has been in adult and youth softball for several years displaying outstanding leadership.
Katelin E. Johnson of Sioux Falls, an all around scholar/athlete graduated from Washington High School with a 4.04 GPA. Entering Iowa State University seeking a degree in mathematics or science and continuing her excellence in sporting activities.
Kathryn M. Kilpatrick of Brookings, a BHS graduate with a GPA over 3.0. Ms Kilpatrick is, in addition an athlete who would continue participation while seeking a degree in Architectural studies. The school of her choice for this degree is Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Lauren M. Kunz of Sioux Falls, is a Roosevelt High School graduate carrying a 3.6 GPA. Ms Kunz, a scholar/athlete will be seeking a degree in Business Management while attending Northern State University in Aberdeen and continuing active sports participation.
Kylene A. Ligtenberg, a 2013 Wagner High School graduate from Wagner, SD where she carried a 3.43 GPA while actively engaged in outside activities including sports. Kylene will enroll at the University of South Dakota seeking a degree in Elementary Education determined to be a first grade teacher.
Stacey M. McDonald of Crooks, SD, a 2013 graduate of Tri-Valley High School ranking 11th in her class with a 3.88 GPA. Stacey will enroll in Northern State University in pursuit of a bachelors degree in a field yet to be determined.
Morgan L. Mahanke of Brookings, a graduate of Brookings High School will take her 3.99 GPA to Black Hills State University in Spearfish. Her college major will be in chemistry with intention to eventually work in the criminal justice system.
Courtney J. Moore of Mitchell, a Mitchell High School 2013 graduate carrying a 4.0 GPA. Another accomplished student/athlete Ms Moore will be seeking a degree in education with a Math Major and minor in Spanish while attending Northern State University in Aberdeen.
Kali J. Pieper of Watertown, a Watertown High School student/athlete who will carry a 3.3 GPA to Mitchell Technical Institute to start her trek to become a radiological technician working in the medical field.
Rhiannon M. Sears of Pierre, a 2013 T.F. Riggs High School graduate will take her 4.0 GPA to Southwest Minnesota State where she plans on majoring in biology. Upon graduation she foresees a PHD in bio-medical research.
Sarah M. Stroud of Sioux Falls is a 2013 graduate of Brandon Valley High School. A 3.4 GPA will accompany Ms Stroud to Augustana College in Sioux Falls where she will pursue a degree in nursing with aspirations to being a flight nurse or E.R. work.
Mashaya R. Thompson of Pukwana is a 2013 graduate of Chamberlain High School. A student and athlete with strong leadership skills on and off the sports stage. A hovering 3.0 GPA will accompany Ms Thompson to the University of South Dakota at Vermillion seeking a degree in Social work.
Taylor M. Tschetter of Rapid City, a 2013 Stevens High School graduate will be enrolling at South Dakota State at Brookings in the pre-optometry program. A 3.88 GPA should aid in her final goal of attending and graduating from an optometry school.
McKenzie L. Wagner of Sturgis, a graduate of Sturgis Brown High is last but not least in the outstanding 2013 scholarship recipient ranks. Ms Wagner, sporting a 3.75 GPA will be attending South Dakota State University at Brookings seeking a bachelors degree in History followed by graduate school, PHD and a college teaching career.

Tia C. Carlson of Kadoka will be attending SDSU at Brookings intent on becoming a registered nurse. Currently a certified Nurse Assistant, Tia obviously acquainted with her choice of occupation.
Anna M. Cramer of Huron is enrolling at the University of South Dakota at Vermillion. Intent on majoring in Health Services Administration, she hopes to graduate in 2016 and maintaining her high school GPA would insure same.
Ashley E. Currey of Madison, using personal experiences will be attending Northern State University at Aberdeen intent on becoming an Athletic Trainer or Occupational Therapist.
Erica M. Everson of Rapid City has chosen Black Hills State University at Spearfish to further her career in the medical field seeking to be a Doctor or Medical Researcher.
Jessica F. Kallas of Belle Fourche is opting to attend Black Hills State University in Spearfish. Ms Kallas seeks a degree in the medical field as a registered nurse.
